This is one of several styles of pottery handmade stoneware mug by Steve Woodhead in UK. They make great coffee / tea mug / cup,
Each ceramic mug / cup is handmade on the pottery wheel, whilst each pottery mug / cup starts with the same weight of clay they do differ slightly in height and width which adds to the individuality of the piece.
The rim of the mug / cup is thrown thin to give a comfortable feeling in the mouth. The handles are set at 4-o-clock & 8-o-clock to give a comfortable grip. In addition, the handle incorporates a "thumb grip" which makes the mug very comfortable to hold in the hand.
These mugs are microwave & dishwasher friendly, and have rattled arround our dishwasher for the past 5 years without incidence.
